Therapy for Children and Teenagers
Play is the language of your child. It supports their emotional, intellectual, physical and social development. Through the medium of play, your child is able to learn new behaviours. Your child can experiment with what it feels like to be gentle and thoughtful, as well as angry and aggressive. Quite often children don’t have the opportunity to discover different behaviours and feelings. Play helps to grow through these experiences in a safe and healthy way.
Through play therapy / psychotherapy children can explore all these feelings. Inner anxieties and conflicts can be talked about and new coping strategies can be developed.
